Prof. Lin Wenjie has long focused on neurobiology, ophthalmology, bioengineering, and oral vaccine research, combining international academic training with experience in founding research platforms and driving cross-regional industry collaboration.

He has conducted research, teaching, and platform-building work at institutions including Harvard Medical School, Baylor College of Medicine, and the Texas Medical Center, while continuing to support the development of biotechnology research platforms in Hong Kong.

His research and translational work spans oral vaccines, public-interest ophthalmology, infectious disease prevention, and international collaboration, laying a foundation for the institute's academic direction, platform development, and technology translation.
